Winners of the GoTech contest for IT-companies have been announced

October 6, 2016, Phystechpark hosted the finals of GoTech contest for IT-projects. 26 companies have been awarded in 14 different nominations.

723 projects from 120 cities and 32 countries have taken part in GoTech 2016. Over a 100 experts have participated in evaluating contesting projects.

“Successful business” award was granted to a virtual reality platform Fibrum Platform. Award for “Disrupting technology” presented to ALT - a position tracking hardware for VR glasses and helmets, that allows avoiding video delays.

Navigine became a winner of DELL EMC nomination. Navigine is a platform that helps to navigate and monitor objects location inside a building. Special prize from Pivotal in this nomination was awarded to Oriense - electronic guide for the blind and visually impaired.

GoGlobal nomination by Runa Capital fund and Phystech Ventures was granted to ALT, Geomatrix и Mionica. ALT will get $50k in investment money from  Phystech Ventures. Retail analytics platform Geomatrix will get $50k from Runa Capital.  Bite treatment and teeth modeling system Mionica will receive $25k from Runa Capital.

In the GoToRetail nomination, 3 winners have been selected and will receive an investment proposal from Untitled VC. Among the winners are Imredi  - 360 view at product distribution, Sarafan that allows photo search for clothes, Tardis 3D - a 3D body scanner.

Smart cashier and business-management system Neemblel was recognized as the best fintech project and awarded by St. Petersburg bank.

Google nomination award was given to DaruDar - service that allows strangers to gift each other presents or services.

As usual, Intel has selected 3 tech projects: a time-management gadget TimeFlip, a service for remote shoes fitting Try.Fit  and a High-precision navigation system for autonomous robots, copters, and VR Marvelmind.

SmartCity nomination winner Sputnik was selected during a pitch session held in front of Morton and Russian Technological Society. Sputnik is focused on installation and maintenance of complex intercom security systems.

Kaspersky Lab have recognized Neelar in the  Next Generation Security Nomination. Nilar is developing a collapse prevention technology, that allows projecting a safe driving trajectory.

Skolkovo Fund nomination award was granted to BankEx - a company that is working on b2b-marketplaces, including suppliers crowdsourcing systems. The winner will get a grant of 5 mln rubles from Skolkovo.

IIDF nomination award was presented to Motorica - a company that creates individual active wrist prosthesis.

Nest Lab became the winner of B2B-Center nomination award. Nest Lab is implementing robotics in the area of oil fields development.  

Four projects have been invited to participate in international business development programs. Hudway, Bubuka, Intelligent Social Systems and Analytics became winners of the Finlanding nomination.

Mionica, CardioQVARK, IQPlanner and xLab have been offered grants to take part in the  iDealMachine USA Landing Program.

GoTech forum has gathered over 1000 participants. Apart from the contest agenda, the Forum has given the stage to some of the industry leaders: MSQRD founder Eugene Nevgen, Prisma founder Alexey Moisenkov, Acronis co-founder Stanislav Protasov,  Pivotal open source director Roman Shaposhnik and other famous entrepreneurs and investors.

Startups for a chance to present their business to VCs and corporate representatives in the VC Corner and to meet the press in the Press Corner.
