Bank & Retail Nomination at the GoTech startup competition
The biggest competition of IT-startups in Russia and Eastern Europe GoTech have just announced a new nomination - Banking & Retail.
Fintech, banking, retail, and insurance startups are invited to compete. The partner of this nomination - B&N Bank Digital, the main card issuer for the Binbank group. Nomination winners will get a chance to launch projects together with B&N Bank Digital and with companies within the industrial-financial group SAFMAR and to be introduced to the investment committee of the SAFMAR venture fund.
Following types of startups are invited to participate:
- Fintech and Insurtech - tech startups in the areas of finance and insurance;
- Retail and e-commerce efficiency;
- Remote authentication, biometrics;
- Tech support for loyalty programs;
- Clients flow analysis;
- Real-time Analytics of online and offline sales;
- Indoors space navigation.
Iliya Kuznetsov, Chief Product Officer of the B&N Bank Digital mentioned that this nomination at the GoTech forum reflects bank’s growing interest in cooperation with tech startups:There are many people in our team who have launched their own startups or are highly involved in working with startups. We have a great understanding of innovation in this area. A big company is a great platform, but startups are the building blocks of the future business. We bet on you!
Applications are open until September 8th on the GoTech website, nomination finals will take place during the GoTech forum in Moscow.
B&N Bank Digital managers are going to evaluate submitted applications: Damir Batulin (CEO), Vitaliy Tataru (CTO), Iliya Kuznetsov (CPO), Konstantin Stiskin, Partner, SAFMAR investment committee, and others.
GoTech competition has earlier announced nominations by Beeline, Kaspersky Lab, Google, Dell EMC, IIDF and Finlanding and an independent nomination GoGlobal where winners are selected by a board of experts that includes VCs, corporate representatives, business-incubators and accelerators representatives. The main criteria for the winner: will this startup dominate globally and make a remarkable success story?
GoTech forum on October 12 will attract over 1000 participants to talk about creating global tech companies. Forum guests will be able to watch the competition finals and startups pitch-session, enjoy conference agenda and networking opportunities. Serguei Beloussov (Acronis), Alexander Galitsky (Almaz Capital), Marvin Liao (500 Startups), Dmitry Chikhachev (Runa Capital), David Yang (ABBYY), Yuri Gurski (Haxus) and many others have already confirmed their participation.
