The winners of GoTech Contest were announced at GoTech Arena Forum

On October 15, in Moscow, GoTech Arena forum and the finale of GoTech Contest were held. The organizer of the largest contest of tech companies in Russia and Eastern Europe is the consulting company GoTech Innovation.

The winners of GoTech Contest were announced at GoTech Arena Forum

GoTech Arena Forum was held under the motto Founders Define Future and brought together 658 startups from 22 countries and 97 cities. In addition, there were panel discussions from experts, including Maxim Konovalov, co-founder of NGINX Inc, Denis Zhadanov, Vice President of Marketing in Readdle, Alexey Milevsky, Investment Director of Mail.ru Group, Ivan Melnik, Director of Innovation at X5 Retail Group, Nikolay Evchenko, Head of Innovation Planning and Development Department of Beeline, Sergey Lukashkin, Director of Digital Transformation at VTB Bank, Lyubov Simonova-Emelyanova, Head of Technology Development office at Rostelecom, Maarika Truu, Head of Startup Estonia, Katrin Vaga, current Head of PR for e-Residency programme, Petr Lukyanov, Partner at Terra VC, Alexander Korchevsky, Partner at I2BF, Konstantin Sinyushin, Managing Partner at the Untitled Ventures, Eldar Vagapov, Managing Partner at Larnabel Ventures, Segey Vasiliev, Co-Founder at Starta Ventures and others.

Three startups became winners in the Arena Pitch nomination:

Exomys from Austria, specializing in the development of passive exoskeletons for industrial application and logistics in order to support employees during exhausting work shifts, was chosen by the Jury members and awarded as the main winner. The prize - two tickets to the Web Summit 2019 conference in Lisbon, as well as consultations on entering the global market from the forum organizers, GoTech Innovation.

Cybertonika, Russian-British company that develops a platform, which uses AI/ML to monitor and investigate fraud cases against banks, e-commerce, payment and FinTech companies, received special prizes from VTB Bank and Vienna Business Agency. The prizes are the opportunity to launch a paid pilot project with VTB bank and a business trip to Vienna Fintech Week in November 2019 in Vienna.

TraceAir develops technology for creation of 3D digital model of the site using drones and unmanned aerial vehicles in a few hours. The startup received a special prize from the Untitled Ventures - an investment offer worth of $ 100,000.

The winner of Go Estonia nomination is AnyWay - a predictive driver behavior analytics platform for car rentals. The startup received support for starting business in Estonia and  tickets for the whole team to Tallinn Startup Week on November 11-15, 2019.

In the Rostelecom nomination were awarded the IQ-Term, monitoring of changes in the microclimate during storage and transportation of medicines and warning about possible outages, and Digital Waste Management Platform, a tool for monitoring the field of waste management, planning promising interregional capacity to create a closed cycle. The founders received the opportunity to launch a joint pilot project with Rostelecom with the perspective to get investments or become a partner of the company in case of success.

In the Finlanding nomination, the winners were EORA VIDEO HUB, a platform that brings machine vision developers, system integrators and businesses together in one place, ProOnline Enterprise, omnichannel E-commerce solution for retailers to create online sales in Russia and around the world, using products from all their warehouses and stores, InSales - service for creation of online stores with integrated sales channels, and the design bureau for engineering design and development of technological products and their prototypes Karfidov Lab. All the winners receive support from the Helsinki Center in entering the European market and tickets for their teams to the Slush 2019 Startup Festival in Helsinki.

In the SKL Tech nomination, the prize went to the personalized travel assistant which builds scenic routes created by famous bloggers and selected using artificial intelligence based on data from social networks. BeTrip got a cash prize of 150,000 rubles and the opportunity to become a resident of the SKL Tech business incubator and attract investments.

In the Beeline 5G Digital Experience nomination, the company “Cluster” specialized in transfer of a full-fledged wired smart home system to wireless 5G technologies and the mobile gratitude monetization service for Retail, SmartCity and Charity FlyPenny will be able to launch a pilot project with Beeline and test their technology on the fifth generation network.
