Results of the Go Estonia Pitch Session
Go Estonia Pitch Session took place on May 27 in Saint-Petersburg. Find out who will take part in Tallinn Startup Week.
The Pitch Session was organized by Startup Estonia and GoTech Innovation. During the preliminary selection, 14 startups were chosen by the jury to pitch their ideas.
In a cozy atmosphere of the bar Pier28 startups presented their products and shared plans of going global. The organizers noted the high level of tech companies and decided to award two startups instead of one.
The winners
- Human+ – development and production of wearable devices which help to increase labor efficiency at production facilities and reduce operating costs. The company received the main prize – round trip funded by Startup Estonia for the team to come to Estonia for Tallinn Startup Week on November 11-15, 2019.
- Tensy – global educational platform based on collaborative learning and blockchain technology – was rewarded by an opportunity to engage in a special Estonian support program for educational companies.
"In Russia we always meet high-level startup teams," said Marilyn Lukk, Startup Visa project lead at Startup Estonia, "but still it was a surprise for us that so many perspective companies gathered today at the Pitch Session. Therefore, we decided to reward and support two projects instead of one – Human+ and Tensy".
“The number of startups that aim to go global grows yearly. GoTech Innovation with Startup Estonia and other our partners glad to open doors to early-stage tech companies in new markets” – noted Irina Kalashnikova, CEO of GoTech Innovation.
The GoTech team congratulates the winners and wishes success in entering the European market!
