GoTech contest nominees will receive grants for participation in iDealMachine USA Landing program

iDealMachine Venture Fund announced the launched of a special nomination for participants of GoTech contest. Three nominees will receive grants for participation in iDealMachine USA Landing program that allows building sales of an own product in the US within 12 months.

Applications will be accepted until 11 September at website gotech.vc. The nomination is designated for companies that already have a product or a service which is being sustainable sold in Russian or in Europe. Moreover, the team should be ready to move to New York for at least 12 months and possess a budget for subsistence of the team, marketing, PR, recruiting, sales development and other associated costs.

iDM USA Landing includes all necessary stages for organization, launch and growth of sales in the US: work places in co-working in the New York center, assistance in quick organization of life and household in the US, carrying out customer development for better understanding of problems and needs of the target audience, product localization for local requirements and standards, launch of the first sales, collection and training of the local team for implementation of the proposed plan.

– iDealMachine USA Landing program is, on the one hand, an enormous chance for the contest winners to step towards building a global project and scaling. On the other hand, it is a big responsibility and a serious scope of work, – tells Sergey Fradkov, co-founder of iDealMachine, one of heads of iDM USA Landing program. – GoTech contest collects the most ambitious and prepared teams, therefore we are confident that the program of landing in the US will be interesting for the participants.

Full cost of participation in the program for 12 months amounts to $72,000. 3 winners of iDealMachine nomination at GoTech will receive grants for reimbursement of a part of participation cost: $36,000 – for the first prize, $18,000 – for the second prize, and $6,000 – for the third prize.

– This year, the contest reached the real international status, – comments Irina Kalashnikova, President, GoTech Fund. – We build a partnership network abroad in order to invite teams to GoTech not only from Russia. Thus, among the first 200 applications, 20 % of participants are located outside Russia and represent 22 different countries. Moreover, at once several nominations will be sent this year for project assistance in entering the global market. For instance, winners of GoTech nomination will represent Russia at Web Summit forum in Lisbon. iDealMachine nomination opens new opportunities for those participants that are aimed creating an international company.

GoTech 2016 contest consists of two general nominations: Successful Business and Breakthrough Technology, and a range of joint programs with contest partners. Together with iDM USA Landing nomination, the following project selection programs have been already announced: Google (universal solutions for users and business), Intel (IoT & Machine learning), Kaspersky Laboratory (Next Generation Security), MORTON Group (Smart City), ЕМС (Big Data & IoT), and the Untitled retail lab fund (Retail Performance). GoTech partners also include Skolkovo Foundation, IIDF, Russian technical Society, ITMO University, and Moscow Exchange.
