“Vezet vsem” (Ruvil.ru LLC) has become an owner of a competing project, an online shipper stock exchange “perevezi.ru” (Перевези.рф, Proaktiv LLC), as the representative of the buyer told Kommersant. The news are confirmed by Vladimir Batishchev, the co-founder of Перевези.рф, and Aleksandr Lupachyov, director of Russia Partners Technology Fund holding 40% of “Vezet vsem”. The transaction amount is not disclosed. “Two people acted as sellers, me and my partner Grigory Rudanov, who had started this project together with me,” Mr Batishchev specifies. In his opinion, the transaction gives “Vezet vsem” a major advantage in the shipping marketplace sphere, and the rivals will have hard time catching up the united service provider.
By tentative data, the total turnover off orders of the two services in 2015 exceeded RUR500M, where the share of “Vezet vsem” comprised ca. RUR400M, as the company states. “Vezet vsem” functions by a bidding principle: consignor places a bid and receives offers from shippers registered at the website and operating the routes in Russia, CIS, and Europe. The fee amount is 8% to 15%; in 2015 mean fee was “just below 10%”. “It is much lower than that of offline dispatchers who obtain at least 25% of their profit from the cost,” says a representative of the company. Perevezi.ru gets its earnings by collecting the fee as well, which varies from 3.5% to 22.9% depending on an order amount. In early 2016, the united company plans to test the Uber-like model in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which allows for quickly ordering a car for home moving and transportation of personal property.
